Author in town Saturday
I attended my first SF convention in July 1987. A book was heavily talked about. "Bimbos of the Death Sun" by Sharyn McCrumb. I bought it in Nov. at my next convention. It grew legs and never returned from the person who borrowed it. Sharyn McCrumb autographed my used bookstore copy in 1993.
I am trying to locate my copy of "Zombies from the Gene Pool" so she can autograph it Saturday at the signing at the public library this Saturday. I will, of course, wear a con t-shirt.

Good luck with that; she's been known to be kind of prickly about those two novels since she now writes *sniff* serious literature.

Yep. That's why I wanna take the oddball books. I am rather contrary that way!
